My Pop-Up at Laforet Harajuku: The Evolution of BLABLAHOSPITAL
Last month, I showcased my Autumn Collection 2024 at Laforet Harajuku, marking my third pop-up event of the year!

It’s no wonder I haven’t had time to paint or update my art blog! How have you been up to? I hope you are still there with me!! Hello~~~!
Today, I want to write about my indie fashion brand, BLABLAHOSPITAL for my art friends here! Have you heard of it for the first time? It may sound weird to name a fashion brand like this, but think about it: this brand name was created when I was 20 years old—someone who had just finished her rebellious teenage years and started living in a new creative stage of life! After all, a weird person will always be weird, haha. This is a long story!!
I have been developing my brand for years within the world of BLABLANurse (myself) and BLABLApatients (the collectors).
While I’ve been focused on the evolution of my clothing brand, I've always thought of my clothes as more than just clothing. I find myself navigating the space between fashion and art, and I’ve been reflecting on this a lot for the last few years…It sounds serious, but I’m very serious about wanting to create 100% of my own world!!!
I feel that taking time to create art (paintings) has really elevated my creative level!
Plus, I've spent a lot of time practicing on the knitting machine, which allows me to expand my design range. These experiences are starting to blend into my brand's designs, slowly connecting to my ideal form.
I also became a member of CFD Tokyo, The council of fashion designers!
(To be honest as I run an "indie" fashion brand, it feels weird to be a member of a group like this, haha. However, it has made me think, and I will share my thoughts about it next time!!)
I have a lot of things to tell you if I start talk about my brand as well like this here…
I prefer to keep things small instead of expanding, so Ideally, I just want one place for all my creative work like painting, knitting, painting, writing about my dream and so on maybe about games too ahah but that's not the case for now…. I even started another new social media account lately……………………………Don’t you think there are too many social media platforms nowadays? I feel like I’m juggling! hahahahahahahaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Off I go now, otherwise I might go crazy! I don't know why, haha!
